Properties: Tolyltriazole is a Needle shaped crystals widely used as a rust preventer, anti-freeze liquid, antioxidant additive (including in various industrial applications. It is known for its effectiveness in protecting metals, especially copper and its alloys, from corrosion in aqueous systems. Tolyltriazole forms a thin protective layer on the metal surface, preventing the corrosive attack of water and other environmental factors.
Usage: It is mainly used as anti- rust and corrosion inhibitor for metals (such as silver, copper, zinc, lead, nickel, etc), and for Anti-rust oil (tallow) products. The gas phase corrosion inhibitor of copper, lubricant additive, cycle water treating compound and auto antifreeze. It can also be concernedly used with manifold sterilization algaecide and has a very fine corrosion mitigation effect on close cycle cooling water system.
